Pohanka Automotive Group has been a proud partner to the communities we serve since our first location opened in downtown Washington, D.C. in 1919. We employ over 1,700 people who live and work in these communities, and for 106 years we have demonstrated our dedication to our neighbors through continued support of charities, schools, youth programs, and community-based organizations in Chantilly, greater Northern Virginia, Washington D.C., Maryland and Tomball, Texas.

2025 Elly Doyle Park Service Awards

Pohanka Automotive Group and The Scott A. & Phyllis P. Crabtree Family Foundation were recipients in this years Fairfax County Park Foundation Eakin Philanthropy Awards. The annual award honors individuals and organizations whose financial or in-kind support has meaningfully strengthened Fairfax County parks. Their contributions create lasting community benefits through innovative programs, facilities, and solutions.

2025 Bike MS

Pohanka Automotive Group was a silver sponsor at this years Bike MS event. Their contributing efforts helped in raising awareness and funds for multiple sclerosis research.

46th Annual 2025 Mid-Atlantic Police Motorcycle Rodeo

Pohanka Automotive Group was a diamond sponsor at this years Rodeo donating $30,000 to HEROES INC. The Mid-Atlantic Police Motorcycle Rodeos mission is to build up the skills and working relationships of the motorcycle officers in the Washington Metropolitan Area.

Geoffrey Pohanka, Chairman of the Pohanka Auto Group, was among the distinguished Laureates recognized for their transformational leadership and philanthropic contributions. This honor celebrates their remarkable impact on the local economy, surrounding communities, and overall quality of life. Wonder Wagon Donation to Fairfax County Park Authority

The Park Authority has introduced its first fully electric, beautifully decorated mobile nature center. This van aims to deliver nature programs and engaging experiences to communities across Fairfax County, especially those with limited access to the Park Authority’s five traditional nature centers.

Pohanka Automotive Group and The Crabtree Family Foundation partners with Community Empowerment of Northern Virginia to help sponsor their Holiday Assistance Program for the second year in a row. Our team donated toddler toys, diapers, household goods, and gift cards, helping over 500 families residing in the Loudon and Chantilly areas.
