This is done so by continuously directing engine power to match weight distribution, available traction, driver input, and other conditions. Furthermore, this superb system will actually shift power to the appropriate wheels for specific tasks such as improving fuel economy, maintaining peak traction, and optimal control during hard acceleration. You’ll be glad to know that Acura has provided this optional drivetrain on a multitude of models, which you can find right here on our lot!

Acura Vehicles with AWD

The two sedans that offer this amenity are the 2019 TLX and 2019 RLX. The TLX accompanies the SH-AWD® with the available 3.5L V6 engine, which means you’ll get this optimal handling system with 290 horsepower and 267 lb.-ft. of torque. The 2019 RLX pairs this drivetrain when you choose the 3-Motor Sport Hybrid engine that collectively delivers 377 system combined horsepower¹ and 341 lb.-ft. of system combined torque¹. Both of Acura’s SUVs offer SH-AWD® as well! It’s an available feature on each trim of the 2019 RDX, which can be enjoyed with the 2.0L 4-cylinder powertrain that delivers 272 horsepower and 280 lb.-ft. of torque. Lastly, you can choose the MDX, which is Acura’s 3-row SUV. Super Handling AWD™ is available on each trim of this model as well. And you can zoom down the streets of Chantilly with a 3.5L V6 engine that belts out 290 horsepower and 257 lb.-ft. of torque. Then, to add the cherry on top of this final deal, you can utilize the SH-AWD® on the MDX to activate a 5,000-lb. towing capacity².
