If you’re showing off this SUV to your friends during twilight hours, activate the Iconic Drive™ Ambient LED Cabin Lighting feature and sift through each of the 27 themes of coloration until you land on one that everyone agrees on. However, in the event that you’re putting on a show in the midst of a warm day in Washington, DC, the GPS-Linked Climate Control1 can get a read on the temperature outside and automatically adjust the interior settings accordingly.
Performance
The ride quality of the 2025 Acura RDX A-Spec® Advance is tantamount to its royal interior, possessing attributes that will please both thrill seekers and drivers who want the driving experience to feel as serene as possible. Its Adaptive Damper System, for example, uses sensor technology to scan the road conditions ahead and adjust the chassis to feel stiff or soft depending on where you’re driving. Cruise at a comfortable pace on I-395 or make an effort to utilize all the force of the RDX’s 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, which is able to make 272 horsepower2 and 280 lb.-ft. of torque. The paddle-shifters that control the 10-speed automatic transmission will cause an exciting reaction when you want to make the drive more spirited. Courtesy of the SUV’s 1,500-lb. maximum towing capacity3, it proves that it has a decent amount of muscle to accompany its speedy dynamics.
Technology
Consider how many other drivers are using the maps application on their smartphone to get live directions to the United States Arboretum. It’s true that you can also use the Acura RDX A-Spec® Advance, but a more enriching experience is had with the Acura Navigation System with 3D View4. This way, you can get a more detailed view of your surroundings and never miss a beat while you’re en route to the destination. Monitor your speed using the 10.5-inch Head-Up Display, a convenient feature that lets you see your velocity and more on a projection-based image on the windshield. The 10.2-inch HD Dual-Content Center Display nearly matches it in size, though it instead shows you what songs are in your queue or radio stations to choose from. It turns out my tires had no tread left and needed urgent replacement.
