Performance

Right off the bat, you’ll have more engine options available when you choose the 2025 Acura MDX. First, the base model has a standard 2.5L aluminum-alloy V6 powertrain that revs out 290 horsepower1 and 267 lb.-ft. of torque, while the INFINITI QX60 has a standard 2.0L VC-Turbo 4-cylinder engine that generates 268 horsepower and 286 lb.-ft. of torque. Also, the MDX offers a second option on higher trim levels with the available 3.0L twin-scroll turbo aluminum-alloy 6-cylinder powertrain that outputs 355 horsepower1 and 354 lb.-ft. of torque. The MDX’s engine options are controlled by a standard 10-speed automatic transmission with sequential SportShift paddle shifters, offering you the ability to command your model with a wider acceleration range along Washington Street. Meanwhile, the QX60 only has a standard 9-speed automatic transmission.

Exterior

On the outside the 2025 Acura MDX has an impressive presentation, with standard 19-inch Silver split 5-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels which will stun as you visit Madison Park. The INFINITI QX60 has standard 18-inch wheels, with options to upgrade to 20- or 22-inch options. Both vehicles offer standard panoramic moonroofs, while the MDX has a tilt and slide function. A unique element of the 2025 Acura MDX are the standard Jewel Eye® LED headlights that will notify others of the brand you’re driving. The exterior of the 2025 Acura MDX also has more color choices, allowing for up to five standard base hues while the INFINITI QX60 limits you to four options, and more with an additional cost. 

Dimensions

The 2025 Acura MDX is a slightly less heavy vehicle, having a standard FWD 4,268-lb. curb weight. Meanwhile, the INFINITI QX60 has a standard 4,516-lb. curb weight, which is more than the FWD base trim of the Acura model. The Acura MDX is longer than the INFINITI QX60 as well, with a 198.4 inches while the QX60 has a 198.2 inch length. If you value cargo space, especially if you’re going to be traveling around Falls Church with frequency, you’ll prefer the 18.1 cubic ft. of cargo space2 that the MDX offers over the 14.5 cubic ft. of cargo space2 that the QX60 provides.
