If you wanted the suite of safety features known as AcuraWatch™ for your RDX, you'd have to switch trim levels, but that all changes with the 2016 model. AcuraWatch™ can now be added to any RDX trim level you choose. This means you get Adaptive Cruise Control2, wherein your RDX is set at a cruising distance and will slow down, speed up, and adapt to what the vehicle in front of you is going. The Collision Mitigation Braking System™ also comes with AcuraWatch™ and uses a radar system in the front of the RDX to scan the road ahead and let the driver know if the collision is imminent. By first giving the driver a heads-up warning and audio tone, the system can then apply the brakes lightly and retract the seat belt, and then apply heavy braking if no action is being taken.

This is just a taste of what the 2016 Acura RDX coming soon near Washington DC has to offer you, so stop by our local Chantilly Acura dealer to learn more about the RDX coming this Spring.
