The 2024 Acura ZDX Type S fuses futuristic styling with electrified performance. As Acura’s first EV, the ZDX ushers in a new era with its sculpted exterior and innovative electric powertrains. While all of the details of this sophisticated SUV haven’t been released just yet, it looks like we’ll see a 340 horsepower RWD ZDX Type S with the option to upgrade to an AWD Type S delivering over 500 ponies.
With GM’s advanced Ultium battery technology, expect over 300 miles of driving range. Based on GM’s Lyriq with a similar powertrain, we should expect around 312 miles per full charge. While paying homage to the original ZDX, the 2024 model features a more traditional SUV shape with its own unique style. The ZDX Type S won’t have the same coupe-SUV shape as the standard ZDX. Instead, it will sport a more conventional SUV look with its own flair.
The floating roof design, smooth body sides, and illuminated Acura grille give the ZDX Type S an unmistakable presence. The cutting-edge exterior envelops a modern tech-focused cabin with premium features and sustainable materials.
Connectivity and Driver-Focused Cockpit
Inside the 2024 all-new Acura ZDX Type S, drivers are greeted with Acura’s signature high-tech cockpit. The standard 10.3-inch center display offers Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Wi-Fi hotspot connectivity.
A digital gauge cluster keeps key info front and center. Heated leather seats ensure comfort, while ambient lighting creates a relaxing environment.
